SD volleyball venues

South Dakota's volleyball community is centered on Sioux Falls and Rapid City, with active club and high school programs and state events drawing teams from across this large-geography state.

The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls is the state's primary large-event venue, hosting state championship and regional circuit events. Rapid City's Monument Arena serves the western South Dakota market and draws from Wyoming and Nebraska. South Dakota clubs participate in the Northern Plains and Mountain West regional circuits.

South Dakota winter travel requires preparation for severe weather from October through April. Interstate 90 and Interstate 29 are the primary tournament travel arteries, and weather conditions on these routes should be monitored for winter events.
