Denver is the mountain west's primary volleyball tournament hub, with the Colorado Convention Center, the Ball Arena area, and a dense network of Aurora, Lakewood, and suburban sports complexes hosting a year-round regional circuit.

Denver sits at 5,280 feet — altitude is a genuine athletic factor for visiting teams from lower elevations. The Aurora Sports Park, Dick's Sporting Goods Park area, and the Westminster-Thornton-Broomfield corridor north of the city have become particularly active venue clusters.
