Venue notes

Parent readout

RMR's facility page names National Western Center as the EOYR venue and gives parent-specific access guidance: volleyball is in Building #1 SYEC and Building #5 LVC, parking is Zone 2, the tournament desk/vendor village/concessions/medical are in LVC, and families should avoid confusing the site with the Denver Coliseum or the older National Western Complex side. NWC's campus guest code of conduct and prohibited-items policy applies alongside the RMR Spectator/Parent Code of Conduct.

Entry

RMR is using Building #1 SYEC for 3 courts and Building #5 LVC for 25 courts. Tournament Desk, Vendor Village, concessions, and medical are in LVC.

Parking

For RMR End of Year Regionals, use Zone 2 parking on the National Western Center campus map. RMR says the volleyball entrance is north/west of the tracks at the Western Event Center side, not the Denver Coliseum and not the older National Western Complex side.

Seating

Large event-center layout across LVC and SYEC. Follow posted court/building signs and leave playing-court spectator space for the teams currently on court.

Food

RMR notes full concessions will be available. Players may bring a sack lunch in their backpacks, but NWC's prohibited-items policy lists outside food and beverages, alcohol, and coolers as prohibited for guests unless event policy allows otherwise.

Weekend access

The 48th/Brighton train station is on the wrong side of the tracks for this event; RMR notes a pedestrian bridge is expected in a future year, not for this event.

Parent tips

  • For EOYR, Friday and Saturday pool play are split into AM and PM waves; Sunday is bracket play and bracket times depend on team path.
  • AM wave starts at 8:00am for 11/12s, 14s, and 17/18s. PM wave starts at 3:00pm for 13s, 15s, and 16s.
  • Do not navigate to the Denver Coliseum or the older National Western Complex side. RMR says the volleyball site is the Western Event Center side north/west of the train tracks.
  • Parking is Zone 2 on the NWC campus map.
  • RMR's Spectator/Parent Code of Conduct applies in all RMR facilities, and NWC's guest code of conduct/prohibited-items policy also applies.
